[HONOLULU, HI – July 29, 2025] – The Hawaiʻi Hotel Alliance is closely monitoring the Tsunami Warning issued by the National Weather Service US Tsunami Warning System and the State of Hawaiʻi today. Our utmost priority is the safety and well-being of our guests, employees, and the wider community.

We urge everyone to immediately heed the direction of first responders and emergency management officials. If you are currently in a designated tsunami evacuation zone, please evacuate to higher ground without delay.

Hawaiʻi Hotel Alliance properties across the islands have activated their comprehensive contingency plans and are actively working to support evacuation efforts. Our teams are diligently assisting guests with relocation to safe areas, adhering to all official guidelines, and ensuring necessary resources are available.

We encourage both residents and visitors to stay informed by monitoring local news, radio, and official emergency channels for the latest updates and instructions. Please use official resources from the National Weather Service, Hawaiʻi Emergency Management Agency (HI-EMA), and your respective county emergency management departments for accurate information.

The Hawaiʻi Hotel Alliance stands in solidarity with the State of Hawaiʻi as we navigate this situation. We commend the swift action of our first responders and emergency personnel and encourage everyone to cooperate fully with their guidance.

Your safety is paramount.

Jerry Gibson President Hawaiʻi Hotel Alliance
